The ARVA Trainingscenter is installed at Pré de Pascal, top station of Val Veny cablecar in collaboration with Ski School Monte Bianco, Ski and Snowboard School Courmayeur, Pré-Saint-Didier and Courmayeur municipality, Funivie Courmayeur Mont Blanc Society and Courmayeur Mountain Guides Company and with Ortovox.
In case of an avalanche every second is of vital importance. Only those who really know how to use the equipment, will be able to help in case of emergency.That's why constant training is so important.
With the Ortovox Search Training System it's possible to make efficient search exercises. The transmitters can be switched on and off independently by using the control unit, with which you can turn any apparatus buried under the snow for personalizing the research with increasing degrees of difficulty to simulate a real situation of an accident involving avalanches.

In the contest of Interreg III A ALCOTRA "Sécurité en Montagne autour du Mont Blanc" Foundation Montagna Sicura has made an Arva Training System in the nearby of the Pavillon du Mont Frèty station, 2200 m , in collaboration with Ortovox and Funivie Monte Bianco.
This mobile system allow to make efficient search exercices and includes:
-1 control unit and 5 transmitters
-the transmitters can be switched on and off indipendently by using the control unit.
The use is free.The centre is open all days during the winter season.
