International workshop - Natural Ri$k Evaluation

Economic assessment of natural risks, land protection, risk mitigation, priority of measures: these are central themes in the integrated management of natural risks, for which there is a great need to exchange knowledge and experiences at European level. to meet this need, the Montagna sicura Foundation, on behalf of the Valle d'Aosta autonomous region, organizes an international workshop called Natural Ri$k Evaluation, within the framework of the AdaptAlp project.
Experts in the management of natural risks will present various methods and examples of the application of the economic assessment of natural risks, a fundamental element to support decisions in the field of land protection and establish priorities and modes of action for risk mitigation.
The workshop is open to experts, administrators and professionals active in the field of natural risks, from the whole Alpine Arc (simultaneous translation will be provided in Italian, French and English).
The workshop is part of the WP6 of the AdaptAlp project, called Risk Prevention and Management. Aim of the AdaptAlp project, which belongs to the 200/2013 "Alpine Space" cooperation project, is the creation of common tools to face climate change in the Alpine region, sharing successful practices and strategies.
