  That the villa should now become the headquarters of a Foundation whose aim is to encourage mountain safety and respect for this special environment, meets the criteria set out by Miss Cameron in her will, when she bequeathed the villa to the Aosta Valley Regional Government.

• The Foundation 'Montagna Sicura' is base of the Aosta Valley Glacier Direction Cabin. Its aim is to coordinate some initiatives for monitoring Aosta Valley glaciers, to plan combined actions for safeguarding them and to promote the scientific know-how acquired.

• The Glaciers Inventory is a data base with information about current and historical glaciers, biographical data, annotation of events dealing with the glacial environment and a photografic inventory.

• ACQWA Project (Assessing Climate impacts on the Quantity and quality of WAter) is a large-scale integrating project, with 35 partners. Foundation Montagna Sicura partake in subtask' : "Impact of climate warming on the stability of hanging glaciers in the alps" .

• Espace Mont-Blanc: its aim is the elaboration, for the Mont Blanc cross-border area, of a sustainable development plan intended as a strategic measure of support for decision-making, unique for all three countries, which will help the local community's undertaking of important choices in questions of planning, protection and management of the territory.
